EMDC 2024 Coming Attractions!

The EMDC Film Festival “Coming Attractions” is Monday, 27 May from 19:30 (7:30pm) to 21:00 (9pm). We will preview short, creative media from the last few years focused on the unreached world. We are looking for:
  • Clips from new narrative live-action or animated films produced during this decade that have not yet been shown at a previous EMDC
  • New movie trailers for films focused on unreached people groups
  • Material that can be dubbed into other languages
  • Documentaries of people groups, inspiring others to highlight minority people groups
  • Films produced by or in cooperation with minority people groups
  • Animated or live-action narrative shorts that highlight biblical stories or principles that can then be dubbed into other languages.

Do you have a project that fits any of these criteria? You may submit your whole film to the review committee, but the maximum screen-time for any project during this festival is six minutes. Please edit your piece to fit that time-frame or provide a short trailer. If you do not have a trailer, you can share a scene or two from the film that is under six minutes.

Films do not need to be evangelistic and can focus on anthropology, prayer, biblical parables, social matters, etc. We are not looking for films produced for a Western audience; however, we do accept a few short videos that advertise services to produce products in minority languages for others.

All entries must be submitted by 10 May 2024.

1.) Register your submission by providing information about your film clip for review on this Google Spreadsheet online.

2.) Upload your clip to this Dropbox Link or provide a Google Drive link for us to download your film. We will not download your film from YouTube for you. Please make sure the clip name matches the title you entered on the spreadsheet.

We will review entries and inform you by May 17th if your clip has been accepted. If accepted, plan to participate in a question and answer session after the screening.

See you then!
